About
Care Ministry Network is an online platform that provides consistent, high-quality, standardized training for volunteers and volunteer leaders of your care ministry for older adults. Its goal is to equip your congregation with the tools it needs to support its unique ministry.
Care Ministry Network was developed by Lyngblomsten, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that has been at the forefront of providing innovative healthcare, housing, and community-based services to older adults and their families for more than 110 years. Lyngblomsten provides resources such as Care Ministry Network to faith-based communities through Lyngblomsten Community Services.
Lyngblomsten Community Services reflect its commitment to the aging community outside Lyngblomsten’s physical boundaries. It is designed around holistic health—caring for people’s bodies, minds, and spirits as they age in their own homes in the communities they know and love. Lyngblomsten’s goal, with its partner congregations, is to support aging adults to live vital lives.
While Care Ministry Network is based on Christian beliefs, it is open to, and intended to reach, people of all denominations and faiths. Lyngblomsten Community Services welcomes all people and commits to enriching their lives. We foster a climate of purposeful inclusion of all without regard to age, race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, financial means, education, or political perspective.
Lyngblomsten is a Christian nonprofit organization serving older adults and their families through healthcare, housing, and community-based services.
